I couldn't be happier for you, Mr. Pink. We ended things three years ago because we somehow knew a relationship between us would never lead to marriage. You wanted to find "the one," and now you have, so that little sacrifice a long time ago has paid off very well. Kudos to you. I may have found mine too.
But it somehow just feels strange...maybe because it makes me think of my own future.
Your engagement has made me more excited about getting engaged.
Never had the prospect of marriage been so real and tangible to me before that.
And now, I know for sure my turn will come.
