Indeed, it has been so worth it taking all of this step by step...even when other people and my own emotions have often driven me to impatience and frustration.
But it is gradually paying off.
To finally hear you say those three words two weeks ago, after waiting for so long, was the most beautiful thing in the world. It brought tears to my eyes.
And now, every time you say them to me, I know I am happier and more secure about their depth and sincerity than I would have been if you had said them a year ago.
It has been worth the wait.
